Duties and Responsibilities

  • Follow up with state teams to collate, review, and archive routine programmatic reports (state monthly technical reports, sub programmatic reports, weekly state updates, facility visit reports etc.) on share Point
  • Facilitate review and approval of memos and requests from supported states
  • Track & report compliance with archiving of state-specific routine program reports on dedicated locations
  • Support the review and processing of direct support funding of health facilities implementing comprehensive HIV and PMTCT interventions across the states
  • Support the review and processing of the State operational floats
  • Collate & archive reports of weekly State coordination meetings
  • Develop timely work plans and budgets for activities to support health facility teams utilize quality improvement methodologies to improve HIV care
  • Coordinate the implementation of QI and QA activities across supported health facilities
  • Manage quality improvement collaboratives among sites to improve care for people with HIV, including conducting peer learning sessions and site coaching
  • Regular report writing including progress reports, QI bulletins and success stories
  • Support facilities to site and LGA quality improvement teams conduct monthly data collection, analysis, use and reporting
  • Develop and update materials for trainings, learning sessions and coaching visits
  • Coordinate assessments, site strengthening, follow-up and supervision, including developing supportive supervision guidelines
  • Perform any other task assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Degree in Public Health or related field
  • At least 4 years post qualification and minimum of two (2) years’ HIV/TB program experience
  • Public health experience and familiarity with quality improvement methodologies is essential
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
  • Good analytical skills
  • Willingness to travel to the field at least 25% of their time.
