Job Description

  • The Human Resource Shared Services Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the HR Shared Services team, ensuring the delivery of efficient and effective HR services to employees across the organization.
  • This role requires a strategic mindset, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of HR operations.

Key Responsibilities
Leadership and Management:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage the HR Shared Services team, fostering a culture of collaboration, excellence, and continuous improvement.
  • Set clear goals and objectives for the team, and provide regular feedback and performance evaluations.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize HR Shared Services processes and workflows.

HR Service Delivery:

  • Oversee the delivery of a wide range of HR services, including but not limited to payroll, benefits administration, employee data management, and HR inquiries.
  • Ensure that HR services are delivered accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate service delivery metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.

Process Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities to streamline and standardize HR processes and procedures, leveraging technology and automation where appropriate.
  • Lead initiatives to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of HR Shared Services operations, driving cost savings and enhancing employee experience.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and ensure alignment with organizational goals.

Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Stay informed about relevant employment laws and regulations, and ensure that HR Shared Services practices are in compliance with legal requirements.
  • Implement controls and procedures to mitigate HR-related risks, such as data privacy and security risks.
  • Conduct periodic audits and reviews to ensure adherence to compliance standards and identify areas of non-compliance.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including HR Business Partners, hiring managers, and employees, to understand their needs and provide responsive support.
  • Act as a point of escalation for complex HR issues and inquiries, and ensure timely resolution.
  • Communicate regularly with stakeholders to provide updates on HR Shared Services initiatives and seek feedback for improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in HR operations, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of HR processes, systems, and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to drive process improvement initiatives and achieve measurable results.
  • Experience with HRIS and other HR technology platforms.
  • Certification in HR (e.g., PHR, SPHR) is a plus.
  • The ideal candidate must have experience handling HR Shared Services.
