 Uni-medical Healthcare Limited Nigeria is a subsidiary of Unigloves Singapore, owned by UG Healthcare cooperation. Unigloves is one of the largest manufacturers of disposable products for the dental, medical, nursing, hospital sectors and for the industry. Our manufacturing company is N. S. UNI- Gloves in Malaysia. We have marketing offices in over 10 countries in the world including Nigeria, Singapore, UK, USA, Germany, China, Brazil, Australia, Canada and Japan.

We supply a wide range of cross infection control products. We make and supply over 1.3 billion gloves annually to medical professionals, as well as specialists in the food, automotive, janitorial and care sectors. The company’s Head Office is located at Plot B2, Block 73f. Alakoso Avenue, Amuwo Odofin Industrial Estate, Lagos with marketing offices in Abuja, Asaba, and Enugu.

Position Overview

  • We are looking for talented and motivated Biomedical candidates to join our team.
  • You will be the face of our company, offering technical expertise, training, and support to our valued customers across the designated region/territory.

Responsibilities

  • Equipment Maintenance and Repair: Maintain and repair a wide range of laboratory equipment, including Haematology analysers, Immunoassay systems, Biochemistry machines, and various other IVD equipment, ensuring peak performance and accuracy.
  • Basic Application Support: Provide technical support and guidance to laboratory personnel on the proper operation and application of laboratory equipment, empowering scientists and technicians in research, diagnostics, and patient care.
  • Training and Education: Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate laboratory staff on equipment usage, maintenance best practices, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Service Revenue Enhancement: Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to identify service opportunities, offer customized service contracts, and ensure prompt resolution of service requests to exceed customer expectations and drive revenue growth.
  • Additional Skills: Proficiency in MS Word and CAD is an added advantage.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Medical Laboratory Science, or a related field.
  • 2 - 5 years relevant work experience.
  • Proficiency in servicing and repairing laboratory equipment, focusing on Haematology, Immunoassay, Biochemistry, and other IVD instruments.
  • Strong understanding of laboratory workflows and applications, coupled with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities to interact with laboratory staff, clients, and internal teams.
  • Commitment to excellence, accuracy, and compliance with regulatory standards in laboratory operations.
