Job Title: Car Park Ticket Officer
Location: Apo, Abuja (FCT)

Responsibilities
Parking Enforcement:
- Patrol parking areas to monitor compliance with parking regulations, including valid permits, time limits, and designated parking areas.
Ticket Issuance:
- Issue parking tickets or citations to vehicles that are in violation of parking regulations, documenting relevant information such as license plate numbers, timestamps, and violation details.
Customer Service:
- Provide assistance and information to visitors regarding parking rules, regulations, and available parking options. Address inquiries and concerns in a courteous and professional manner.
Traffic Control:
- Direct traffic flow within the parking area to ensure efficient use of space and prevent congestion. Assist with vehicle entry and exit during peak times or special events.
Payment Processing:
- Collect parking fees from visitors, issue receipts, and maintain accurate records of transactions. Handle cash and operate electronic payment systems with precision.
Equipment Maintenance:
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance of parking equipment, such as ticket machines, barriers, and signage. Report any malfunctions or damages for prompt repair.
Reporting:
- Maintain detailed records of parking enforcement activities, including ticket issuance, revenue collection, and incident reports. Prepare regular reports on parking utilization and enforcement statistics.
Conflict Resolution:
- Handle disputes and conflicts related to parking violations or ticketing with diplomacy and professionalism. Work to resolve issues amicably while upholding parking policies.
Emergency Response:
- Respond to emergencies or security incidents within the parking area, such as accidents, medical emergencies, or security threats. Coordinate with appropriate authorities as needed.
Qualifications and Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience in parking enforcement, security, or customer service is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
- Basic mathematical skills for processing payments and reconciling transactions.
- Physical fitness for patrolling parking areas and performing traffic control duties.
- Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and parking policies.
- Proficiency in using parking management software and electronic payment systems.
Salary
N30,000 monthly.
