We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Kitchen Assistant (Live-in)
Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in food preparation tasks.
- Assist in cooking and baking under the supervision of chefs or cooks.
- Set up and maintain workstations according to food safety standards.
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas.
- Wash dishes, pots, pans, and other kitchen utensils by hand or using dishwashers.
- Store food items properly and rotate stock to maintain freshness.
- Receive and unpack food deliveries.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and guidelines at all times.
- Follow instructions from chefs, cooks, and kitchen supervisors.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff members to ensure efficient workflow.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and perform under pressure.
- Physical stamina and endurance to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Salary
- N70,000 - N90,000 monthly.
