Job Title: Loan Sales Officer

Locations: Abuja (FCT) and Keffi, Nasarawa

Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • The Loan Sales Officer will be responsible for generating new business by identifying potential clients, promoting our loan products, and guiding customers through the loan application process.
  • This role requires excellent sales skills, a strong understanding of financial products, and a dedication to customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and engage potential clients through various channels, including field visits, referrals, and networking.
  • Promote and explain the features and benefits of our loan products to prospective customers.
  • Assist clients in completing loan applications and gather all necessary documentation.
  • Evaluate the financial status of applicants to determine their eligibility for loans.
  • Maintain a strong pipeline of leads and manage the sales cycle from prospecting to closing.
  • Build and maintain relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and performance metrics.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive customer experience throughout the loan application process.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitive products, and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and submit regular sales reports to the Branch Manager.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the financial services or microfinance sector.
  • At least 1 year work experience.
  • Strong understanding of loan products and financial principles.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Self-motivated with a results-oriented approach.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications and CRM software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel locally to meet clients and attend events.
