  • Overseeing comprehensive product testing to ensure quality standards, regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction, while proactively identifying and mitigating risks to maintain product integrity.
  • Enhancing testing efficiency and product quality through continuous improvement of testing processes, methodologies, and resource management, ensuring alignment with project timelines and budgets.
  • Fostering collaboration across development, quality assurance, and other key stakeholders to align on testing strategies and objectives and providing insights into product readiness for release based on in-depth analysis.


  • Providing leadership and direction to the testing team, including setting clear goals, defining roles and responsibilities, and fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.
  • Managing testing resources such as personnel, tools, and infrastructure to ensure efficient and effective testing operations, including resource allocation, scheduling, and utilization.
  • Developing comprehensive test plans that outline testing objectives, scope, methodologies, resources, and timelines for each project or release.
  • Working with the testing team to design and develop test cases, scenarios, and scripts that cover all functional and non-functional requirements of the product.
  • Overseeing the execution of test cases and scenarios, ensuring that testing activities are conducted according to the defined test plans and methodologies.
  • Managing the defect lifecycle, including defect identification, logging, prioritization, assignment, tracking, resolution, and verification.
  • Identifying opportunities for test automation and working with the testing team to develop, implement, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to increase testing efficiency and coverage.
  • Coordinating the setup and maintenance of test environments, including hardware, software, and configurations, to ensure they accurately simulate production environments.
  • Establishing and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track testing progress, defect trends, test coverage, and other relevant quality metrics. Providing regular reports and updates to stakeholders on testing status and outcomes.
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives within the testing team, including process enhancements, tool optimizations, skills development, and lessons learned sessions to enhance testing effectiveness and efficiency over time.
  • Identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks related to product quality and testing activities, including proactively addressing potential issues that may impact project timelines or deliverables.
  • Facilitating communication and collaboration between cross-functional teams, including development, QA, product management, and customer support, to ensure alignment on testing objectives, priorities, and outcomes.
  • Ensuring that testing processes, procedures, test plans, test cases, and other relevant documentation are created, maintained, and updated as needed to support project requirements and quality standards.
  • Providing training, coaching, and mentoring to testing team members to enhance their skills, knowledge, and capabilities in software testing methodologies, tools, and technologies.
  • Keeping the end-user in mind throughout the testing process, gathering feedback, and incorporating customer perspectives into testing activities to ensure that products meet or exceed customer expectations and satisfaction.


  • A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Fluent in English

6–13 years’ experience, which includes:

  • At least 5-7 years of experience in product development, product testing, quality assurance, or related roles, with progressively increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Proficiency in software testing methodologies, tools, and techniques, as well as familiarity with programming languages, databases, and testing frameworks. Knowledge of automation testing tools and techniques is often required.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, including the ability to motivate and mentor team members, facilitate collaboration, and resolve conflicts effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, present findings and recommendations, and facilitate discussions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues, analyze root causes, and develop effective solutions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to meticulously review and analyze testing results, documentation, and requirements.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools, with the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize testing activities, allocate resources effectively, and manage timelines and budgets.
  • Familiarity with the industry standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements relevant to the products being tested, such as ISO standards.
