 The People Practice - Our client, an Oil and Gas Company, is recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Recruitment Consultant

  • Post jobs on career websites/portals
  • Consult with managers/clients to understand the staff requirements and specific job objectives
  • Source candidates by using databases and social media
  • Screen/ Evaluate resumes
  • Conduct phone, Skype and/or in-person interviews
  • Provide a shortlist of qualified candidates to hiring managers
  • Help the hiring team with recruiting methods and interview questions
  • Contact new employees and prepare on boarding sessions
  • Prepare new hire paperwork ensuring legislation requirements are met
  • Maintain a complete record of interviews and new hires
  • Stay up-to-date with current recruiting methods
  • Maintain a robust network of professionals from which can leverage on with sound referrals


  • Bachelor of Science or higher
  • Preferable experience as a recruiter
  • Experience with planning and crewing is a pre-requisite
  • Experience in the Oil and Gas Industry is a pre-requisite
  • Minimum experience of between 8 to 10 years experience in a similar role
  • Proven track record of delivering and placing Technical and Corporate positions in Oil and Gas sector


  • Ability to prioritize tasks and complete it within time frame
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Pro-active and ability to multitask
