The People Practice - Our client, an Oil and Gas Company, is recruiting to fill the position below:
Responsibilities
- Post jobs on career websites/portals
- Consult with managers/clients to understand the staff requirements and specific job objectives
- Source candidates by using databases and social media
- Screen/ Evaluate resumes
- Conduct phone, Skype and/or in-person interviews
- Provide a shortlist of qualified candidates to hiring managers
- Help the hiring team with recruiting methods and interview questions
- Contact new employees and prepare on boarding sessions
- Prepare new hire paperwork ensuring legislation requirements are met
- Maintain a complete record of interviews and new hires
- Stay up-to-date with current recruiting methods
- Maintain a robust network of professionals from which can leverage on with sound referrals
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science or higher
- Preferable experience as a recruiter
- Experience with planning and crewing is a pre-requisite
- Experience in the Oil and Gas Industry is a pre-requisite
- Minimum experience of between 8 to 10 years experience in a similar role
- Proven track record of delivering and placing Technical and Corporate positions in Oil and Gas sector
Skills:
- Ability to prioritize tasks and complete it within time frame
- Excellent communication skills
- Pro-active and ability to multitask
