Job Summary

  • The Social Media / IT Executive is responsible for overseeing the strategic planning, implementation, and optimization of the company's social media presence and digital platforms.
  • This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise and social media marketing skills to ensure a seamless and effective online experience for the target audience.
  • The Social Media/IT Executive will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to integrate social media initiatives with the overall IT infrastructure and digital strategy, driving brand awareness, audience engagement, and business growth.

Key Responsibilities
Social Media Strategy and Management:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with the company's marketing and communication goals.
  • Conduct in-depth research and analysis to identify the target audience, their preferences, and the most effective social media platforms.
  • Oversee the creation and curation of engaging, visually appealing, and high-quality content for the company's social media channels.
  • Manage the day-to-day community engagement, including responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner.
  • Continuously monitor and analyze the performance of social media campaigns and activities using relevant analytics tools and platforms.
  • Identify areas for improvement and recommend data-driven adjustments to optimize the social media strategy.

Digital Platform Management and Integration:

  • Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of the company's website, online portals, and other digital assets
  • Ensure seamless integration of the social media channels with the company's IT infrastructure and digital systems.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to implement advanced features, functionalities, and security measures for the digital platforms.
  • Continuously monitor and troubleshoot any technical issues or user experience problems across the digital platforms.
  • Implement cutting-edge technologies, tools, and best practices to enhance the overall digital ecosystem and user experience.

Cross-Functional Collaboration and Coordination:

  • Work closely with the marketing, advertising, and public relations teams to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to the company's online presence.
  • Coordinate with the content creation, design, and IT teams to ensure the timely delivery and seamless implementation of digital initiatives.
  • Provide training and guidance to other team members on best practices for social media management, digital content creation, and platform optimization.
  • Collaborate with the data analytics team to generate comprehensive reports and derive insights to enhance the performance of digital assets and social media campaigns.

Innovation and Thought Leadership:

  • Stay informed about the latest industry trends, emerging technologies, and social media platform updates to continuously improve the company's digital ecosystem.
  • Identify and implement innovative solutions to enhance the user experience, increase operational efficiency, and drive business growth.
  • Share industry knowledge and best practices by contributing to relevant industry publications, participating in conferences, and engaging with professional communities.
  • Foster a culture of digital innovation and encourage the adoption of new technologies and tools within the organization.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Digital Marketing, or a related field.
  • Must have 5-7 years of experience in a similar role, managing the intersection of social media, digital platforms, and IT operations.
  • Proficient in using popular social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok) and associated analytics tools.
  • Strong technical skills and understanding of web development, content management systems, and digital platform integration.
  • Excellent project management and problem-solving abilities to coordinate cross-functional initiatives.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful social media and digital strategies that drive measurable business results.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, derive insights, and optimize digital performance.
  • Outstanding communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with various teams and stakeholders.
  • Creativity and adaptability to stay ahead of emerging social media and digital technology trends.
  • Passion for staying up-to-date with the latest industry developments and innovations.
