Job Title: Sonographer

Job Summary
- The Sonographer will perform a variety of diagnostic ultrasound procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
- The successful candidate will work closely with our medical team to ensure accurate and timely imaging services, contributing to the overall patient care experience at RHV.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct ultrasound examinations and produce high-quality diagnostic images.
- Interpret ultrasound results and provide preliminary reports to physicians.
- Maintain accurate and complete patient records.
- Ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of ultrasound equipment.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients about the ultrasound procedure and address any concerns or questions.
- Adhere to established safety protocols and infection control measures.
- Participate in continuing education and training programs to stay current with advancements in ultrasound technology and techniques.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Medical Sonography or Radiography from a recognized institution.
- Current registration and licensure with the Radiographers Registration Board of Nigeria (RRBN).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Sonographer in a clinical setting.
- Proficiency in performing a wide range of ultrasound procedures, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecologic, and vascular imaging.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care and maintaining patient confidentiality.
