Job Description

  • We are seeking a organized and experienced Storekeeper to join our team.
  • As a StoreKeeper, you will be responsible for managing the inventory and storage of food, beverages, and supplies, ensuring efficient stock control and minimizing waste.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and store deliveries of food, beverages, and supplies
  • Manage and maintain accurate inventory levels and records
  • Ensure proper storage and organization of stock, including labeling and dating
  • Monitor and control stock levels, minimizing overstocking and waste
  • Assist with ordering and purchasing supplies and ingredients
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient stock control and minimize waste
  • Maintain a clean and organized storage area, including the walk-in fridge and freezer
  • Assist with monthly inventory counts and stock takes
  • Identify and report any discrepancies or issues with inventory

Requirements

  • 1+ year of experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy with inventory management
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with counting and calculating inventory
  • Availability to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • OND qualification

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Multilingual skills
