Job Description
- We are seeking a organized and experienced Storekeeper to join our team.
- As a StoreKeeper, you will be responsible for managing the inventory and storage of food, beverages, and supplies, ensuring efficient stock control and minimizing waste.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and store deliveries of food, beverages, and supplies
- Manage and maintain accurate inventory levels and records
- Ensure proper storage and organization of stock, including labeling and dating
- Monitor and control stock levels, minimizing overstocking and waste
- Assist with ordering and purchasing supplies and ingredients
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient stock control and minimize waste
- Maintain a clean and organized storage area, including the walk-in fridge and freezer
- Assist with monthly inventory counts and stock takes
- Identify and report any discrepancies or issues with inventory
Requirements
- 1+ year of experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy with inventory management
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
- Basic math skills and accuracy with counting and calculating inventory
- Availability to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- OND qualification
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Multilingual skills
