Summary of the Positions

  • The Chief Finance Officer is responsible for leading project and corporate financing initiatives. The position manages the company’s financing processes, including modeling and underwriting, deal structuring, debt procurement, debt management, forecasting, and performance analysis.
  • Additionally, the Chief Finance Officer will manage equity raises for projects and oversee the investor relations for high-net-worth and institutional investors.
  • The Chief Finance Officer is directly involved in complex real estate development transactions and will be the key player in coordinating and synthesizing information for the cross-functional team responsible for securing, closing, and executing these projects. This position reports directly to the CEO.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Direct budgeting and forecasting processes for all new development projects, ensure corporate forecasting includes the most recent information.
  • Perform modeling and financial analysis for all new projects and performance analysis for all existing properties and projects.
  • Manage debt financing platform for the company’s real estate portfolio and for new and existing real estate developments.
  • Responsible for compliance and reporting functions related to the loans, coordinating with account personnel to ensure all financial statements reporting requirements are met.
  • Develop corporate policies and procedures related to the company’s financing initiatives.Primary Responsibilities
  • Review loan documents and manage loan closing process, including handling all lender and third-party deliverables.
  • Negotiate construction loans for new development projects and permanent refinances for maturing loans.
  • Manage existing lender relationships and develop new lender relationships.
  • Assist real estate and development teams with in-depth due diligence as needed.
  • Create offering memorandums and coordinate activities to raise equity capital from existing high-net-worth and institutional relationships, and the development of new relationships that will provide capital for our growing pipeline of projects.
  • Manage investor relation activities, upgrade existing communication materials, and serve as a single point of contact for investors across all investments.
  • Oversee complete Finance and Accounts activities, monthly financial consolidation, Budgeting and Risk Management

Qualifications / Competency Requirements

  • MSc/ MBA in Finance / Accounting
  • Professional qualification such as CFA, CPA, ICAN or ACCA is highly desirable.
  • 7-10 years of progressive experience in Real Estate, Commercial Banking, or Private
  • Equity
  • In-depth knowledge of corporate financial laws and risk management practices
  • Advanced Excel skills with ability to design/build complex models.
  • Highly critical and analytical personality
  • Ability to communicate confidently and effectively with key stakeholders (internally and

  • Must be able to excel in a cross-collaborative, team-oriented environment
