Job Title: Commercial & Strategy Director

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning and Execution:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive strategic plans that align with the company’s long-term goals and objectives.
  • Conduct market analysis and competitive assessments to identify growth opportunities and emerging trends.
  • Lead the development of business strategies that enhance the firm's market position and profitability.

Commercial Management:

  • Oversee the commercial operations of the firm, ensuring effective management of assets and investments.
  • Drive revenue growth through the development of new business opportunities and expansion of existing client relationships.
  • Negotiate and manage key commercial contracts and partnerships.

Leadership and Team Development:

  • Lead and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with the executive team to ensure alignment of strategic initiatives across the organization.

Financial Performance:

  • Develop and manage budgets, financial forecasts, and performance metrics to ensure the firm meets its financial targets.
  • Monitor and report on the financial performance of the company, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, clients, partners, and regulatory bodies.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences, events, and meetings.

Risk Management:

  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with the firm’s strategic and commercial activities.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA or equivalent Advanced Degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in strategic and commercial roles within the asset and investment management industry.
  • Proven track record of success in strategic planning, business development, and operational management.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and analytically, with a results-oriented mindset.
  • Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
