We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Market Developer

Location: Lagos Mainland, Lagos

Reponsibilities

  • Develop strategies to drive user acquisition, retention, and sales across regions.
  • Analyze market trends and discover new opportunities for growth.
  • Drive acquisition and retention of wholesalers while ensuring selling in (bulk buy) and sellout
  • Manage the wholesalers store on the marketplace, assisting with shop setup, ensuring demand fulfilment by wholesalers to the retailers and adherence to the SLA timeline.
  • Suggest value added services/products that will increase user acquisition and retention.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing wholesalers while actively seeking new partnerships to drive the sales team.
  • Focus on generating demands for wholesalers in assigned territory.
  • Cross-Selling and Up-Selling; introduce wholesalers to additional products or services that align with their goals, contributing to revenue growth.
  • Prepare Competition and activity report in assigned territory
  • Develop & deploy business propositions that will be converted to revenue.

Special Skills and Qualifications

  • HND or equivalent in business, Marketing/ administration/management or equivalent
  • 2-5 years bulk sales management experience in an FMCG Distribution company or related field
  • Prior experience in team collaboration, key distribution management and handling sellout from distributors to wholesalers.
  • Capable ofachievingsales target.
  • Results-orientated and ability to pay close attention to details.
  • Street smart and with a drive for sales
  • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency.
