We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Executive Supply Chain Manager
Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Description / Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing supply chain strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
- Overseeing procurement, inventory management, and logistics operations.
- Building relationships with suppliers and negotiating contracts.
- Analyzing data to forecast demand and manage inventory levels.
- Ensuring compliance with regulations and quality standards.
- Collaborating with other departments to coordinate supply chain activities.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Previous experience in a supply chain or logistics role, with progressively increasing responsibilities.
- Certification such as Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or similar is often preferred.
Skills Required:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools.
- Leadership and team management skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Knowledge of logistics, procurement, and inventory management best practices.
Other Requirements:
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for supplier meetings or inspections.
- Familiarity with industry trends and best practices in supply chain management.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically about supply chain issues.
- Flexibility to adapt to changes in the business environment.
Remuneration
- N250,000 to N400,000 per month.
