Job Title: Sales and Marketing Manager

Location: Lagos 

Employment Type: Full-time
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday: 7.30 a.m. – 4.30 p.m. (Flexible work conditions)
Remote Work - One day a week

Job Summary

  • The Sales and Marketing Manager will actively engage in evaluating current marketing opportunities and target markets, gathering customer intelligence, generating sales leads, and overseeing follow-up activities.
  • Additionally, this role is dedicated to cultivating and nurturing robust customer service relationships with both existing and potential customers.
  • Success in this position demands a profound industry understanding, adept leadership capabilities, and a proven track record in driving revenue growth.

Job Duties / Responsibilities /  Accountabilities

  • Main tasks will include but are not limited to the following:
  • Identify likely prospects.
  • Retain long-term clients and existing customers.
  • Ensuring overall sales performance
  • Weekly sales goals
  • Responsible for defining and following up on yearly sales targets and objectives.
  • Communicate new product developments to prospective clients Provide requested information,
  • Overseeing the development of marketing.
  • Planning and preparation of presentations for clients
  • Develop entry level staff into valuable sales personnel.
  • Maintaining the client database
  • To ensure that the company’s reputation and quality are always maintained.
  • To undertake such other duties and responsibilities as commensurate with the nature of the post as detailed in the departmental quality documents.
  • Work one on one with decision makers to clarify client’s needs.
  • Handles coordination and promotion of events.
  • Coach all staff in the continuous development of a ‘Pro-active Safety Culture’ – Not Reactive.
  • Maintain the QA system relevant to your job function.
  • Any other duties assigned by management

Qualifications / Experience

  • Education Qualification: A bachelor’s degree in any discipline. A master’s degree will be an added advantage
  • Professional Qualification: NIM will be an added advantage
  • 7-8 years post-NYSC experience in a sales role.
  • Previous experience in process industry/FMCG/ Oil and Gas Industry
