The Heartitudes Foundation reaches out to help those who are truly in need of help, especially in the areas of health and medical care. It has achieved a lot in the areas of promoting and improving healthy living standards, footing the medical bills of those who need it and rehabilitating patients back into the larger society.

Position Overview

  • As the Volunteer Fundraising Coordinator, you will play a vital role in planning, organizing, and executing fundraising campaigns and events to support our organization's mission and programs.
  • You will work closely with our fundraising team and volunteers to develop creative fundraising strategies, engage donors and supporters, and achieve fundraising goals.
  • This position offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of others while gaining valuable experience in nonprofit fundraising.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement fundraising strategies and plans to achieve revenue targets and support organizational objectives.
  • Coordinate and support fundraising campaigns, events, and initiatives, including donor appeals, online fundraisers, and community outreach activities.
  • Recruit, train, and support volunteers to participate in fundraising activities, providing guidance and resources as needed.
  • Cultivate and steward relationships with donors, supporters, and community partners to build long-term engagement and support for our organization.
  • Utilize online platforms and social media channels to promote fundraising campaigns, engage donors, and expand our donor base.
  • Monitor and evaluate fundraising performance, track key metrics, and prepare reports to assess progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the communications team to develop fundraising materials, including appeals, newsletters, and donor communications.
  • Stay informed about fundraising best practices, trends, and regulations, and incorporates new ideas and strategies into our fundraising efforts.

Qualifications

  • Passion for our organization's mission and a commitment to making a difference in the community.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in fundraising, event planning, or volunteer management is preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with fundraising tools and platforms, social media, and digital marketing techniques.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Flexible schedule with the ability to commit to volunteer hours as needed.
