Job Overview
- We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Inventory Supervisor to oversee and manage our inventory operations.
- The Inventory Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring accurate inventory tracking, implementing inventory control procedures, and supervising inventory staff.
- This role requires strong organizational skills, leadership abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of inventory management practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring accuracy and availability of products
- Lead and supervise a team of inventory clerks, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
- Develop and implement inventory control procedures to optimize inventory management processes.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Prepare and maintain detailed inventory reports, analyzing data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical inventory and system records.
- Organize and maintain inventory storage areas for efficiency and accessibility.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies within the inventory area.
Qualifications
- OND in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
- 2 - 3 Years proven experience in inventory management or a similar supervisory role
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Salary
N50,000 + Other benefit
