Job Title: Service Writer

Job Description
- As a Service Writer at Redline Automobile Service, you will be the liaison between our customers and our service technicians.
- Your primary role will be to ensure that each customer’s needs are understood and addressed, ensuring a smooth and efficient service experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers and listen to their needs regarding vehicle issues and maintenance.
- Create detailed work orders and service estimates based on customer information and technician input.
- Schedule service appointments and manage the service workflow to ensure timely completion of work.
- Communicate with customers throughout the service process, providing updates and explaining any additional recommended services.
- Maintain detailed records of services performed, parts used, and transactions.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and follow-up calls to ensure satisfaction.
- Coordinate with service technicians to ensure work is completed accurately and efficiently.
Requirements
- Experience in automotive services is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Service Writer, Service Advisor, or similar role in an automotive service environment.
- Strong knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance processes.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in using automotive service software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
